Episode 5 – Insights on Local Government Tendering

Mark Winser from Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises joins Arvind Lal in this episode of the podcast to discuss Tendering in the Local Government Space. Mark shares his experience of calling for tenders and also submitting tenders for Kimbriki for multi-million projects.

Mark Winser is General Manager – Operations at Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises. This role encompasses oversight of all operational, projects and planning aspects of a multi-functional resource recovery centre receiving and processing over 300,000 tonnes of waste/resources per annum with a recovery rate approaching 80%.

Before commencing with Kimbriki, Mark was the Technical Manager at the Remondis Organic Resource Recovery Facility processing food waste, garden wastes and biosolids to manufacture high quality composts as well as processing domestic mixed solid waste for Port Macquarie Hastings Council.

Prior to this, he worked with NSW Agriculture in the Animal Health and Soil Research Departments, Sydney University in the Science Education Teaching Laboratories and NorSearch, the Southern Cross University Environmental Science Business Arm.

He holds a degree in Applied Science (Resource Management) from the University of New England.
